The Solutions

Main exterior parts for OA products require materials that ensure longer durability and upscale design. starex® ABS CM-0140 M, equipped with high flowability and high gloss, is the optimal material solution that meets the basic requirements on the market and offers various advantages and functionalities. starex® ABS CM-0140 M has excellent flowability and processability, which increases the degree of freedom in terms of injection molding conditions. In this regards, the clamping force of the injection molding machine goes down, which means manufacturers can achieve cost reduction by adopting ABS. In addition, LOTTE Chemical’s ABS has excellent gloss property that helps create excellent gloss levels of printer models, marking a dramatic upgrade from the existing OA exterior materials with low gloss level. Compared with HIPS, ABS has better mold releasing and paintability in a way that enhances productivity and improves the quality of product appearance.
